Hi there. I ride with a group of mostly women, on gaited horses of all types. We are located in the upstate NY area, and are looking for new places to explore. Many of us are off for the summer, and love to horse camp. We are all self contained, with campers, goosenecks, or motorhomes. If you've got a wonderful place you'd like to show us, or tell us about, email me. We also have some terrific places to ride and are glad to share the info......................Erica

Hello from Erica again. I thought I'd update, just in case someone sees last years message, and thinks it may be outdated. I'm in upstate NY, have two TWHs love to horse camp and trail ride, and welcome any inquiries about my area, and info about other states within 500 miles. I've met some nice folks from this bulletin board, and hope to meet more.

Hey, I live in the Mid-Hudson Valley of New York State. My TWH, Major is stabled in Middletown. I have a trailer and am willing to travel a bit, but would really like to find someone closer who's got Walkers to ride with and maybe to learn a little from as well.

We plan to ride at Hector the end of May. It will be our 1st time to ride there. Are the trails easy to follow? Are there maps available?
Also, we are riding and camping at Sugar Hill the beginning of June. I recently heard that they put flushing toilets and sinks in BUT now the water is not drinkable for horses. Is this true?
Thanks for any info you might have.
