Profile Overview

YaBB allows you to fill out a profile which tells people all about you.  You can have your name, age, instant messenger information, personal images and more.
Editing Profile

To change your profile, click the "Profile" option in the forum menu.

Change my Profile Info:

1. Go to your profile by ONE of the below methods: (you must be registered and logged on)

-Scroll to the top and click the "profile" button
-Go to the "member's list" and click on your name
-click on the "profile icon" next to one of YOUR posts

2.  When you are in your personal profile...click the "modify" button at the top

3.  TYPE your password and then verify your password (ONLY SOMEONE WHO KNOWS YOUR PASSWORD CAN CHANGE YOUR PROFILE)

4.  Enter info you want to add or change

5.  Scroll to the bottom and click "change profile".
 

Profile Options

How do I get my POSTED pic into my profile?

-Right click on a photo that you have posted
-Left click on "properties"
-do you see where it says "Address URL"--you will need to put THAT address into your profile

    -follow the steps in How do I "modify" my profile above
    -"check" the box that says "I have my own pic" and 
    type in the URL address from your pic
    -scroll to the bottom and click the "change" button
    to apply the changes you made.

- Real Name
Real or displayed name.
Example: John Doe 
- Email Address
This must be valid to register, and things may be sent to this email address by the forum. 
Example: me@mydomain.com 
- Birthdate 
Your birthdate, in MMDDYYYY form. The birthday is only used to ensure that you are old enough to register on the forum. It also allows YaBB to display special items on your birthday. 
Example: 07 31 1981 
- Time Offset 
This is a + or - number to add or subtract to the current time showing on the forum. 
Example: Forum time shows 13:28, but your time is 14:28. Time Offset would be +1 
- Signature 
This is a brief message or list of urls's that you may type in. YaBBC code is allowed in your signature. Signatures are shown at the bottom of each of your posts.
